Pölypussista is a Finnish term that translates to "dust bag" in English. It most commonly refers to the disposable bag used in many vacuum cleaners to collect dust and debris. These bags are typically made of paper or synthetic material and are designed to be sealed and discarded once full. The function of a dust bag is to contain the collected dirt, preventing it from being released back into the air during vacuuming and making disposal easier.

Different types of dust bags exist, including standard paper bags, which are generally the most affordable, and microfilter bags or HEPA bags, which offer improved filtration capabilities.
