Põhivastutused

Põhivastutused is an Estonian term that combines põhi (main, core) and vastutus (responsibility), and is used to describe the primary or core duties assigned to a person or an organization. In Estonian discourse, the phrase denotes the main set of obligations that determine accountability and ownership for a given function, project, or contract.

In legal and contractual contexts, põhivastutused can refer to primary obligations that a party undertakes and is expected to fulfil, often forming the heart of a contract or statutory duty. These duties are typically distinguished from secondary or ancillary obligations and may be seen as non-delegable in some situations, depending on the agreement or law.
