Póciénistes

Póciénistes were a philosophical and religious movement that emerged in the early 19th century in the fictional region of Veridia. The movement's central tenets revolved around the concept of "pócien," which loosely translates to "inner resonance" or "divine spark." Póciénistes believed that every individual possessed this internal resonance, a direct connection to a benevolent cosmic force. Their practices focused on cultivating and attuning this resonance through meditation, communal chanting, and acts of selfless service.

The founder of the Póciénistes was a charismatic individual known only as the "Harmonizer." He taught that societal disharmony and personal suffering stemmed from a disconnect from one's pócien, often caused by materialism, societal pressures, and negative emotions. The Harmonizer advocated for a life of simplicity, empathy, and non-violence, believing that by aligning with their inner resonance, individuals could achieve personal enlightenment and contribute to a more harmonious world.

The movement gained a significant following among artisans, scholars, and those disillusioned with the prevailing political and economic systems of the time.
