Píinu

Píinu is a fictional coastal town in the Píinian Archipelago, imagined as a small regional center on the island of Lir. The town sits at a natural harbor with rocky shores and a backdrop of scrubland and low hills, and it experiences a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers.

Historically, Píinu traces its roots to an early medieval fishing harbor and trading post. It grew in the early modern period under regional governance, and a storm in the 17th century prompted harbor improvements and the construction of defensive works that shaped its townscape.
