Purworejo

Purworejo is a regency (kabupaten) of Central Java Province in Indonesia. The regency’s administrative seat is the town of Purworejo. Located in the southern part of the province, Purworejo comprises a mix of rural villages and small urban centers set within a landscape that includes lowland agricultural areas and modestly hilly terrain.

Administratively, Purworejo is divided into districts (kecamatan).
