Punktdarstellungen

Punktdarstellungen, also known as scatter plots or scatter diagrams, are graphical representations of data where individual data points are plotted on a two-dimensional plane. Each point corresponds to the values of two different variables, with the position of the point determined by the intersection of its respective values on the x-axis and y-axis.

The primary purpose of a punktdarstellung is to visualize the relationship or correlation between two quantitative variables. By observing the pattern of the plotted points, one can identify trends, clusters, outliers, and the strength and direction of the association between the variables.
