Prísluných

Prísluných is a form of an adjective used in Slovak, and it is rarely encountered in contemporary language. The term is primarily found in older or technical texts, such as geography, agriculture, or botany, where it describes something that receives a lot of sunlight or is sun-facing. In modern Slovak, the more common word for this meaning is slnečný.

Etymology and meaning: The imagined base adjective would be prísluný, formed from the root relating to sun exposure and a prefix indicating relation to the sun. The noun phrase described by this adjective would refer to sunlit or sun-exposed features, such as landscapes, slopes, or habitats.
