Protohistorik
Protohistorik, or protohistory in English, is the study of periods and societies between prehistory and written history. It examines communities that produced some form of writing or left textual traces that are fragmentary, and it analyzes how such sources interact with archaeological remains to illuminate social life, economy, religion, and politics during the transition to history.
