Prosess

Prosess is a term that in many languages refers to a sequence of actions or steps that lead to a result. In English, the cognate is process. The spelling prosess appears in several European languages, and in some technical contexts it names a formal sequence of operations, a natural phenomenon, or an organizational activity.

In computing, a process is an executing instance of a program. Each process has its own memory space, system resources, and at least one thread of execution.
