Promovidas

Promovidas is the feminine plural form of the past participle of the Spanish verb promover, meaning those who have been promoted. The term is used as an adjective or nominal phrase to refer to women who have achieved a promotion, typically within a workplace, institution, or organization. The masculine counterpart is promovidos; the neutral or mixed-gender plural would be promovidos in many contexts. In Spanish, participles in -ido/-ada function as adjectives and can be used substantively with definite articles: las promovidas describe a group of women who have received promotions.

The word appears often in HR language, organizational reports, and journalistic coverage when discussing gender representation in promotions, e.g., studies on the promotion gap or the success of women in senior roles.
