Processlines is a term used to describe the sequence or network of processing steps that a unit of work undergoes within a project, factory, or software pipeline. The concept is used across manufacturing, logistics, and data processing to model how work flows from initiation to completion and to identify opportunities for efficiency.

In manufacturing, a process line is a dedicated arrangement of workstations and machines that perform a series of operations in a prescribed order. Each line may produce a family of parts or products and is designed for a chosen capacity. Line balancing distributes work among stations to minimize idle time and optimize throughput.
