Processenheter

Processenheter, also known as processing units or processing elements, are fundamental components within a computer system responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations. They form the core of any computational device, from simple microcontrollers to complex supercomputers. The most common type of processenhet is the central processing unit (CPU), which handles the majority of a computer's tasks. However, the term can also encompass other specialized processing units like graphics processing units (GPUs) designed for visual rendering, and digital signal processors (DSPs) optimized for handling specific signal manipulations.
