Proceso

Proceso is a Spanish term that generally refers to a sequence of actions or events designed to achieve a result. It is used across domains such as law, science, manufacturing, information technology, and everyday language. In legal contexts, un proceso or el proceso denotes a formal proceeding before a court or administrative body, encompassing the stages from filing to judgment and enforcement, including any appeals. In science and industry, a proceso denotes a transformation sequence, such as a chemical proceso or a production proceso, in which inputs are converted into outputs. In computing, a process is the set of instructions and state managed by an operating system for a running program; the Spanish term is also used in that sense.

The word is also used as a proper noun. El Proceso is the Spanish title of Kafka's
