Priyadarshi
Priyadarshi is a Sanskrit epithet meaning "one who looks with kindness" or "one who beholds with affection." It is often translated as "the beloved" or "the kindly one." This title was famously associated with Emperor Ashoka, one of the most significant rulers in ancient Indian history. He adopted the name Priyadarshi, or sometimes Priyadarshi Devanam Piya ("Beloved of the Gods"), and used it extensively in his rock and pillar edicts.
