Primærviklinger

Primærviklinger, often translated as primary windings, are a fundamental component in electrical transformers. They are the coils of wire that are connected to the input voltage source. The number of turns in the primary winding, in conjunction with the number of turns in the secondary winding, determines the voltage transformation ratio of the transformer. When an alternating current flows through the primary winding, it generates a fluctuating magnetic field in the transformer's core. This changing magnetic field then induces a voltage in the secondary winding. The material of the winding, typically copper due to its high conductivity, and the insulation used are crucial for efficient and safe operation.
