Prijateljstvo is the concept of friendship in South Slavic languages, notably Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, and Montenegrin. It denotes a voluntary and reciprocal relationship between individuals marked by affection, trust, and support. Prijateljstvo is formed from the root prijatelj (‘friend’) with the suffix -stvo, which in Slavic languages denotes a state or quality.
