Pradosham
Pradosham is an auspicious period observed in Hinduism, particularly in Saivism, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It occurs twice a month, on the thirteenth day of each lunar fortnight, both the waxing and waning phases of the moon. The time of Pradosham is considered to be the period from the sunset until about 45 minutes after sunset on the Trayodashi (13th lunar day). This specific timing is believed to be when Lord Shiva performs his cosmic dance, the Tandava, and is considered highly potent for worship and seeking blessings.
