Postajamo

Postajamo is a Slovenian term and verb form meaning "we are becoming." It is the first-person plural present indicative form of the verb postajati, which means to become or to turn into. As an imperfective verb, postajati describes ongoing processes rather than completed changes.

In practice, postajamo is used to express gradual development or ongoing state changes. It commonly collocates with adjectives or nouns to describe evolving conditions, for example, "Postajamo boljši" (We are becoming better) or "Postajamo bolj odprti" (We are becoming more open). The perfective counterpart is postati, used when the change is viewed as completed.

Morphology: In the present tense, the verb conjugates as follows: jaz postajam; ti postajaš; on/ona/ono postaja; mi postajamo; vi postajate; oni/one/ona postajajo. It forms part of a larger conjugation pattern for verbs of the -ati family in Slovenian.
