Portreath
Portreath is a village and civil parish on the north coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies on the B3301 road, about 3 miles north of Redruth and 5 miles west of Truro. The village is known for its picturesque harbour and sandy beach, which has been a popular destination for holidaymakers and surfers for many years. Historically, Portreath was a small fishing village, but its fortunes changed with the advent of copper and tin mining in the surrounding area. The harbour was developed to export minerals, and the village grew in size and importance.
