Polütsentristlikus, often translated as polycentric, refers to a system or structure characterized by multiple centers of power, decision-making, or influence. This stands in contrast to a monocentric system, which has a single dominant center. In political science, a polycentric governance system suggests that authority is dispersed among various levels of government, such as local, regional, and national, as well as across different branches and agencies.
