Polluons
Polluons are a fictional or speculative class of elementary particles devised in some theoretical discussions and science-fiction to carry information about environmental pollution. The term is not used in mainstream physics, and there is no experimental evidence for such particles. In these models, polluons are imagined as quanta that encode aspects of pollution—such as concentration, pollutant type, and distribution—and influence how pollution propagates or is sensed.
