Polcprofilok

Polcprofilok, or shelf profiles, are vertical metal profiles used in modular shelving systems to support adjustable shelves. They are the uprights or posts of a shelving unit, typically made of carbon steel, zinc-plated or powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Profiles feature a pattern of holes or notches at standardized intervals that accept shelf supports, brackets, or locking pins. By moving supports along the holes, shelf heights can be customized without tools.

Polcprofilok come in various load ratings and sizes, from light-duty to heavy-duty, and in single- or double-sided configurations. Heights differ by system but are commonly 1000–3000 mm, with cross-sections such as square or rectangular profiles. They are designed to cooperate with corresponding beams, shelf panels, and accessories from the same manufacturer or compatible systems, enabling modular expansion.

Installation involves mounting uprights to floor or wall anchors, attaching beams to the uprights at the desired levels, and inserting shelf supports or brackets. Safety and stability are ensured through proper anchoring, level alignment, and adherence to load limits. Maintenance includes periodic inspection for corrosion, bending, or hole damage, and replacement of worn components.

Applications include warehouses, archives, retail backrooms, workshops, and offices. Polcprofilok are a fundamental element of adjustable shelving systems, offering flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in storage solutions.
