Podmínkovým

Podmínkovým is the instrumental singular form of the Czech adjective podmínkový, meaning "conditional" or "relating to a condition." It is used in grammatical contexts to describe things connected with conditions or with the conditional form of verbs. As an inflected form, podmínkovým appears when the adjective modifies a masculine or neuter noun in the instrumental case, or in fixed phrases such as podmínkovým způsobem.

In grammar, the term podmiňovací způsob denotes the conditional mood in Czech. It expresses hypothetical, contingent, or wishful actions and is the overarching category that is often discussed alongside podmínková věta, the conditional sentence. The instrumental form podmínkovým commonly appears in phrases that describe the manner in which something is expressed, for example, podmínkovým způsobem, meaning “in a conditional manner.”
