Plnivá

Plnivá is a fictional municipality in central Valenia, created for illustrative purposes. It is described as a small rural town in the Valenian plains at the foot of the Velin Mountains, roughly 60 kilometers north of the capital Velora.

Etymology: The name Plnivá is of uncertain origin in the fictional Valenian history. It is sometimes linked to a root meaning “full” or regarded as an old river toponym.

History: First documented in 1183, Plnivá grew around a medieval market. It gained autonomy in the early modern era and was incorporated into Valenia in the 19th century. A late-20th‑century rural renewal program shaped its current administration.

Demographics and economy: Population is about 3,200. The community is predominantly Valenian, with small minority groups. The economy relies on cereals and dairy farming, small-scale production, and heritage tourism.

Culture and landmarks: Notable sites include the Church of St. Peter (15th century) and the Old Town Hall (1724). The annual Plnivá Days festival showcases local crafts, produce, and music.
