Plastikpindadel is a term that has emerged in discussions surrounding the environmental impact of plastics. It refers to the phenomenon of plastic debris accumulating in natural environments, particularly in oceans and waterways, where it can persist for hundreds of years. The term combines "plastik," the Dutch word for plastic, with "pindadel," a Javanese word that can be interpreted as a spill or a cascade.
