Commonly used plasmacyte markers include:

1. CD138: A membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of plasma cells and some B-cell lymphomas. It is often used as a marker for plasma cell differentiation and is a target for therapeutic antibodies in multiple myeloma.

2. CD38: A membrane-bound enzyme expressed on the surface of plasma cells and other hematopoietic cells. It is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation.

3. CD19: A membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of B cells and some B-cell lymphomas. While not exclusively a plasma cell marker, it is often used in combination with other markers to identify and characterize plasma cells.

4. CD56: A membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of natural killer cells and some hematopoietic malignancies. It is not a specific plasma cell marker but is sometimes used in combination with other markers.

5. Kappa and Lambda Light Chains: These are the two types of light chains that combine with heavy chains to form immunoglobulins. The ratio of kappa to lambda light chains can be used to identify monoclonal gammopathies, including multiple myeloma and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS).
