Planetaryvälja is a hypothetical astronomical phenomenon describing the theoretical process by which a planet's atmosphere could be stripped away by a combination of factors, including intense solar wind, impacts from large celestial bodies, or a planet's own internal processes leading to a loss of magnetic field. The term "välja" itself is not a recognized scientific term and appears to be a neologism, possibly derived from a misunderstanding or invented for speculative purposes.

The concept of atmospheric stripping is well-established in astrophysics. For instance, Mars is believed to have lost a significant portion of its early, denser atmosphere due to its weak magnetic field and the constant bombardment of solar particles. Similarly, Venus, despite having a substantial atmosphere, experiences severe atmospheric erosion due to its slow rotation and lack of a global magnetic field, which allows the solar wind to directly interact with its upper atmosphere.

Planetaryvälja, as a concept, would encompass these known mechanisms but potentially introduce speculative additional causes. These could include rapid and catastrophic impacts of dwarf planets or even rogue comets, leading to immediate atmospheric ejection. Alternatively, it might propose a more gradual, internal planetary process, such as a rapid depletion of key atmospheric components or a sudden destabilization of atmospheric layers. However, without empirical evidence or theoretical frameworks supporting "planetaryvälja" as a distinct phenomenon beyond existing models of atmospheric loss, it remains a speculative idea.
