Pisuerga
Pisuerga is a river in northern Spain, part of the Duero (Douro) river basin in Castile and León. It originates in the Cantabrian Mountains and flows generally southeast across the plateau, draining portions of the provinces of Palencia and Valladolid. The river passes near towns and rural communities and is most prominently associated with the city of Valladolid, where it runs through the urban area and contributes to the region’s water resources. The Pisuerga eventually joins the Duero in the vicinity of Valladolid, forming part of the larger river system that continues toward Portugal.
