Pisces

Pisces is both a zodiacal constellation and an astrological sign. In astronomy, it lies along the ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun, and is one of the twelve zodiac constellations. It is a large, relatively faint constellation located between Aquarius and Aries and crossing the celestial equator. The symbol of Pisces is two fish swimming in opposite directions, a motif that reflects duality and interconnectedness.

In Greek mythology, Pisces represents Aphrodite (Venus) and her son Eros (Cupid), who transform into fish to escape the monster Typhon. They are bound together by a cord so they would not lose each other, a story echoed in the sign’s emblem.
