Piconetverkostoja, or piconets, are small wireless personal area networks that are formed when a device acts as a master and connects to up to seven other devices, called slaves. This type of network is commonly associated with Bluetooth technology, where a piconet is established when a Bluetooth-enabled device initiates a connection with another. The master device controls the communication within the piconet, dictating when slave devices can transmit data. Once a piconet is formed, the devices remain connected until the master device disconnects them or they move out of range.
