Phosphorodithioic

Phosphorodithioic acid is an organophosphorus compound with the general formula R P(S)(SH) 2 where R is an organic group. More commonly, the term refers to derivatives where the SH groups are further functionalized, such as in phosphorodithioate esters, which have the general formula R P(S)(SR') 2. These compounds are characterized by the presence of a phosphorus atom double-bonded to one sulfur atom and single-bonded to two sulfur atoms, which are in turn bonded to organic groups.
