Petrovgrad
Petrovgrad, originally known as St. Petersburg, is a major city in northwestern Russia. It is situated on the Neva River and is the country's second-largest city after Moscow. The city's name was changed to Petrograd in 1914, in honor of Tsar Peter the Great, and later to Leningrad in 1924, in commemoration of Vladimir Lenin. It was renamed back to St. Petersburg in 1991, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
