Petronas

Petronas, short for Petroliam Nasional Berhad, is Malaysia's fully integrated oil and gas company and the national petroleum corporation. It is wholly owned by the Government of Malaysia through a controlling stake held by the Minister of Finance Incorporated. Established in 1974 to oversee the country’s oil and gas resources, Petronas developed from earlier state ventures into a diversified energy conglomerate.
