Perspektyva

Perspektyva is a term used in Ukrainian (перСПектива; transliterated perspektyva) to denote both a viewpoint and the prospects for the future. The word also appears in other Slavic languages, such as Russian (перспектива, perspektiva) and Polish (perspektywa). In these languages it functions as a bridge between literal sight and figurative outlook, covering both how something is seen and what may lie ahead.

In art and geometry, perspektyva refers to the technique of representing three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface.
