Pentekostalizm

Pentekostalizm is a Protestant Christian movement that emphasizes the experience of the Holy Spirit. It is characterized by beliefs such as divine healing, spiritual gifts, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is often evidenced by speaking in tongues. Pentecostal churches trace their origins to the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, which began in 1906.

The movement's theology centers on the belief that the gifts of the Holy Spirit described in the New Testament are available to Christians today. This includes prophecy, miracles, and speaking in tongues (glossolalia). Worship services in Pentecostal churches are often lively and spontaneous, featuring enthusiastic singing, prayer, and testimonials.

Pentekostalizm is a diverse global movement, with a significant presence in Africa, Latin America, and Asia, as well as in North America and Europe. There are many different denominations and independent churches that identify as Pentecostal. While united by core beliefs, there can be variations in practice and emphasis among these groups. The movement's focus on personal spiritual experience and its emphasis on evangelism have contributed to its rapid growth worldwide.
