Pemosisian is a fictional ethnolinguistic term used in speculative fiction and thought experiments to designate a hypothetical people, their language, and related cultural practices associated with the imagined region of Pemosia. In this usage, pemosisian encompasses social structure, material culture, and linguistic features treated as a coherent world-building unit. It is not a real-world ethnography and has no recognised status in actual linguistic or anthropological research.

Etymology of the term traces to the legendary city of Pemosis, with the adjectival form -ian common in ethnonyms. The label is typically applied by authors and designers to signal a distinct linguistic and cultural package within a fictional setting.

Language characteristics attributed to Pemosian vary by author but are commonly described as agglutinative, with a subject–object–verb (SOV) word order, and a rich system of affixes marking tense, evidentiality, and case. Phonologies are often imagined to include a sizeable consonant inventory with features such as glottal stops and ejectives. Some treatments imagine vowel harmony, tone, or pitch accent as part of the phonological profile.
