Pelastusviranomaiset
Pelastusviranomaiset is a Finnish term referring to the authorities responsible for fire safety, rescue, and disaster response. They operate under national legislation such as the fire and rescue services act (pelastuslaki) and related regulations. Their tasks include preventing fires and other hazards, preparing for emergencies, and coordinating and carrying out rescue operations and recovery when incidents occur.
