Parealle

Parealle is a fictional concept used in speculative discourse to describe a principle of symmetrical parallelism across distributed systems. It is not part of established science, but appears in thought experiments and worldbuilding to explore how parallel processes might be coordinated to yield deterministic outcomes.

In the Parealle formalism, the state space S is partitioned into Parealle classes by a relation ≈ that is intended to be reflexive, symmetric, and transitive. A binary operation ⊗, called pairing, merges a pair of states into a synchronized composite state. The idea is that independent operations, when viewed through the lens of Parealle, can be composed without introducing order-dependent divergences. In the fictional framework, ⊗ is associative and commutative within compatible classes, and there exists an identity state e such that a ⊗ e = a for all a.

Origins and usage: Parealle has appeared in speculative literature and design discussions as a tool to reason about fault tolerance, synchronization, and parallel determinism.
