Parameteris

Parameteris is a Latin-language form that appears as the genitive singular of the modern loanword parameter. In Latin scientific and scholastic writing, parameteris functions to express possession or relation to a parameter, for example in phrases translated as “the value of the parameter” or “the parameter’s influence.” Because parameter is a relatively new term in many languages, Latin authors occasionally render related phrases with parameteris rather than building entirely with native Latin terms such as mensura or ratio.
