Paraíbas
Paraíbas refers to a group of indigenous peoples who historically inhabited the region that is now the Brazilian state of Paraíba. The primary group known by this name were the Tabajaras, who were a significant presence in the area before and during the Portuguese colonization of Brazil. Other related groups may have also been considered under the umbrella term "Paraíbas" by early European settlers, reflecting a broader indigenous presence in the territory.
