PandaX4T
PandaX4T is a scientific collaboration focused on developing and operating a dark matter detector. The experiment aims to directly detect Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs), which are leading candidates for dark matter. The detector utilizes a large volume of liquid xenon as its target material. When a WIMP interacts with a xenon nucleus, it is expected to produce a small amount of light and ionization. PandaX4T is designed to detect these faint signals with high sensitivity.
The PandaX experiment is located in the Jinping underground laboratory in China, which provides a deep underground
