Paljastaneet

Paljastaneet is the plural past participle form of the Finnish verb paljastaa, meaning to reveal or disclose. It is primarily used to indicate that multiple subjects have performed the action of revealing something, and it appears in compound tenses with the auxiliary olla (to be) to form the present perfect and past perfect.

In finite clauses, paljastaneet occurs as part of the perfect tense with the appropriate form of olla. For example, in the common construction they have revealed, one would say he ovat paljastaneet totuuden (they have revealed the truth). The form is related to the singular paljastanut, but it is the plural participle that combines with olla to express the plural perfect aspect.
