Painepiipulla

Painepiipulla refers to a type of punishment or corrective measure that was historically used in some parts of Finland. The term itself is a combination of three Finnish words - "paine," meaning pressure, "pii," meaning dough, and "pulla," meaning bun or sweet bread.

According to historical records, painepiipulla was a form of punishment where an individual was made to knead dough repeatedly until their hands became sore and blistered. This physical punishment was intended to be a form of discipline or to teach a lesson. It's not clear when the practice of painepiipulla originated, but it is believed to have been used in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in certain regions of Finland.

Some historical accounts suggest that painepiipulla was used as a corrective measure for individuals who had committed minor transgressions or infractions, such as being late for work or school. Others suggest that it was used as a form of humiliation or humiliation for those who had disobeyed authority.

Despite its historical significance, painepiipulla is no longer practiced in Finland or anywhere else. In modern times, the practice would be considered a form of child abuse or a violation of human rights. The Finnish government has implemented strict laws to prevent corporal punishment and other forms of physical abuse.
