A PWM säätöyksikkö, or PWM control unit, is a device used to regulate the speed or output of various electrical components, most commonly motors and lights, by employing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). This technique works by rapidly switching a signal on and off. The duration of the "on" time, relative to the total cycle time (the "on" time plus the "off" time), determines the average voltage supplied to the component. By varying this "on" duration, known as the duty cycle, the control unit can effectively control the power delivered.
