PSAtuotteiden

PSAtuotteiden refers to the vehicles and related components produced by Groupe PSA, a French multinational automobile manufacturer also known as PSA Group. The term encompasses the group’s product portfolio and its engineering, powertrain, and part offerings.

Groupe PSA’s core brands included Peugeot, Citroën, and DS Automobiles. In 2017, Opel and Vauxhall joined the group after an acquisition from General Motors, expanding the range of PSAtuotteiden to include those brands as well. The product lineup covers passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and the associated engines and drivetrains, including traditional internal combustion engines as well as electrified options such as hybrids and full electric models.

Historically, the group traces its origins to the 1976 merger of Peugeot S.A. and Citroën, forming PSA Peugeot Citroën. The company adopted the branding Groupe PSA in 2016, and the Opel/Vauxhall integration followed in 2017. In 2021, PSA merged with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to form Stellantis, after which PSAtuotteiden became part of a larger automotive portfolio under the Stellantis umbrella while continuing to reflect the heritage brands and platforms of PSA.

Product strategy for PSAtuotteiden emphasized modular platforms designed for multiple brands to reduce development and production costs. Shared architectures and powertrain commonalities enabled cross-brand efficiency, while a broad electrification push aimed to offer electric and hybrid variants across the Peugeot, Citroën, DS, and Opel/Vauxhall lineups. Today, the legacy of PSAtuotteiden continues within Stellantis, guiding ongoing product development and brand-specific model strategies.
