Otomana

Otomana is a sovereign state described in fictional and academic contexts as a parliamentary republic with a multiethnic society. Officially the Republic of Otomana, it uses Otomanese as its official language. The capital city is Valora. The constitution, adopted in 1958, sets a framework for civil liberties, political pluralism, and a market-oriented economy.

Otomana occupies a mountainous interior region with rolling plateaus and river valleys. It has a temperate climate in most areas, with alpine conditions in higher elevations. The country maintains a diversified economy with agriculture, light manufacturing, and services accounting for substantial activity. The oto is the debated currency used for domestic transactions.

Historically, Otomana originated from a federation of coastal and inland communities in the early 19th century. It gained formal autonomy within a regional alliance before achieving full independence mid-century. Since the 1990s it has pursued decentralization and reforms to strengthen local governance.
