OthelloReversi
OthelloReversi is a digital implementation of the classic strategy board game Othello, also known as Reversi. The game is played by two players who take turns placing discs on a board. Each disc has a black side and a white side. Players aim to capture their opponent's discs by flanking them with their own. When a player makes a valid move, all opponent discs lying in a straight line (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) between the newly placed disc and another of the player's own discs are flipped to the player's color. The objective is to have more discs of one's own color showing at the end of the game than the opponent. OthelloReversi typically offers a graphical interface for playing against a computer opponent or another human player, either on the same machine or over a network. It may include features such as move validation, undo functionality, and different difficulty levels for computer opponents. The game's rules are generally consistent with the official Othello rules, emphasizing strategic placement and capture of opponent pieces. The digital format allows for quick setup and gameplay compared to a physical board.
