Osztályharcokra refers to class struggles, a concept central to Marxist theory. It describes the inherent conflict between different social classes within a society, particularly between the bourgeoisie (the owning class) and the proletariat (the working class). This struggle is seen as the primary driving force of historical change.

Marxist ideology posits that capitalist societies are characterized by this fundamental antagonism. The bourgeoisie, owning the means of production, exploit the proletariat, who must sell their labor to survive. This exploitation, according to the theory, leads to alienation, poverty, and a growing disparity between the rich and the poor. The class struggle manifests in various forms, including strikes, protests, political organizing, and even revolution, as the proletariat seeks to overthrow the bourgeoisie and establish a classless society.

While the term is most closely associated with Marxism, the idea of social conflict arising from class divisions predates Marx and can be observed in various historical contexts. Different schools of thought offer varying interpretations of class and its role in society, with some emphasizing economic factors and others incorporating social, cultural, or political dimensions. The concept of class struggle continues to be a subject of debate and analysis in sociology, political science, and history.
