Oscillatable

Oscillatable is an adjective used to describe a system, object, or phenomenon that is capable of undergoing oscillation. Oscillation refers to a repetitive variation, typically in time, of some measure about a central value or between two or more different states. In simpler terms, something that is oscillatable can move back and forth, up and down, or cycle through states in a regular, recurring pattern.

Many physical systems exhibit oscillatable behavior. For example, a pendulum is oscillatable, swinging back and forth around its equilibrium position. A mass attached to a spring is also oscillatable, moving rhythmically as it stretches and compresses the spring.
