Optimalitás
Optimalitás is the Hungarian term for optimality, referring to the state or quality of being the best possible outcome within a defined set of constraints or criteria. In mathematics and related disciplines, optimalitás describes solutions to optimization problems, where an objective function f(x) is minimized or maximized over a feasible set X. An optimum is a point x* in X such that f(x*) ≤ f(x) for all x in X (global optimum) or f(x*) ≤ f(x) in a neighborhood (local optimum).
Necessary conditions for differentiable problems include vanishing gradient at x*, with second-order conditions using the Hessian,
Applications span operations research, economics, engineering, computer science, statistics, and control theory. In algorithm design, optimalitás
Terminology and emphasis vary by field, but the core idea remains: optimalitás denotes attaining the best possible
